A chemical plant in The Netherlands ordered measurement and detail identification of pipelines within the LHC2 plant. Because of many modifications conducted in the object over the last 20 years the existing design documentation was inaccurate. Therefore, one of the tasks was to recreate the documentation. In addition, the 3D data obtained during the project make it possible to define the 3D position for each element. Apart from the point cloud, we have also delivered high resolution spherical panoramic pictures (350 MPix each). Even the slightest descriptions on the piping installation can be read thanks to the pictures.
