Scan the head joint component

Our company was asked to scan the head joint component and examine its degree of wear, corrosion. The customer pointed out a few dimensions that were most critical to them, which, thanks to the use of a handheld scanner with high accuracy (up to 0.02 mm) and appropriate software managed to measure with the required accuracy.

The handheld scanner, which is used even for measuring large components, allows you to reflect accurately surfaces, as well as read the exact dimension you want, which could be difficult to measure due to large size and inaccessibility of metrological instruments.

The output files can be saved in a variety of formats to suit the customer's requirements.

Laser Scanning

3D laser scanning is a process of capturing physical facilities’ geometry. This process provides a complete digital representation of the scanned objects to be used for feasibility study, engineering, prefabrication, and assembly processes.

The basic product of laser scanning - point cloud - can be directly used as a reference during the design process or it can serve as raw data for creation of corresponding accurate 3D CAD models, 2D drawings and other final products such as CapView images.
