Project description:

Since 2015, Capnor has been providing ongoing support to the Balder FPU to ensure the vessel's production capabilities are maintained. Throughout this period, we have successfully executed over 400 projects, which encompass more than 9000 scans and numerous tie-ins point measurements.

As a comprehensive solutions provider, our scope of work includes concept development, offshore measurements, the collection of essential field data, the preparation of production drawings, stress calculations, and dimensional control of prefabricated components.

All fieldwork is conducted using a coordinate system that is consistent across the Balder, which enables us to deliver reliable data and maintain alignment with our client's operational coordinate system.

Each scan performed on the Balder is incorporated into our proprietary solution, Ayelix. This platform facilitates access to virtual facilities for all portal users, allowing our clients and collaborators to effectively engage with the data collected offshore, leveraging the advanced functionality that Ayelix offers.

At Capnor, we deliver engineering services that set new standards for quality and efficiency. From precise laser scanning to advanced drone photography, our innovative approach revolutionizes how you make decisions and execute projects. Trust us and focus on your goals. We will handle the rest.
