PROJECT DESCRIPTION
MST Odin was scanned with a HDS3000 scanner during the fall 2004. We modelled the ship in Cyclone, and developed a new method to accurately create an object for the deck surface itself. The finished model has more than 35.000 objects.
 
After having been scanned, the ship moved to Singapore to start overall revamp work. The need for additional scanning has been identified, as part of specific dimensional control. More on this will follow in the next revision of this document.
