Scanning of the existing assembly line production equipment (Vehicle lifters, carriers, slat conveyors, equipment for installing doors, windshields, engines, wheels, etc.) and provision of CAD models for Catia V5

• To assess ergonomic concerns

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This is an ongoing project. We have scanned the existing assembly production line equipment of all three facilities using the HDS 4500 scanner and modeled it. The models were converted to a step file and imported into Catia V5. These models have allowed Toyota to avoid months of down time as it converts an assembly line to handle a new vehicle model.
