SCOPE OF WORK

PURPOSE

• To document the interior and exterior of the building
• To create photo-realistic 3D model for various use

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The building was captured in high detail with Leica Geosystems laser scanners. After some post-processing, we created meshes of the interior and exterior, which was draped with colors from high resolution digital photos, and then rendered out using visualization software.

Handling large amounts of data is one of the major challenges for this kind of scaning projects. When working with this project, we started developing a new procedure and storage system to accommodate the information rationally. This system has proven to be crucial for the success for this project, and similar scanning projects.
